ECU remapping for your car, van, truck or bike
At A1 Tuning Bristol, we work with you to ensure that your vehicle’s ECU perfectly suits your requirements. Whether it’s power, fuel efficiency or a 50/50 remap you’re after – we’ve got you covered.
We offer extras including popcorn limiters, pops and bangs, smoke and launch control. If you’re looking for other services like DPF solutions, swirl flap removals or AdBlue deletes – we have all of these and more on offer.
We also offer ECU remapping by post. All you need to do is send your ECU to us and we can get it tuned to your requirements. If we receive the ECU before 1pm, we will even get it returned to you on the same day.

How it works:
Upon your arrival we perform a full diagnostics check on every module of your vehicle. We then read the file and customise it to your requirements. Next, we write the file back to your ECU and carry out another diagnostic check to make sure that everything is working as it should be. After that, we ask you to take your vehicle out for a test drive to check that you are fully satisfied.
ECU Cloning
At A1 Tuning Bristol we work with the best tools available. This allows us to clone 95% of ECUs on the bench without opening them. If the ECU is damaged and unreadable we will do our best to repair it, allowing us to extract the files we need in order to write to the new ECU. While cloning the ECU we can also add a remap.
How it works:
If you live in or near Bristol I can come to you – or you are welcome to drop your ECU off and wait while it’s cloned. We also offer ECU cloning by post. If we receive your ECU before 1pm, we will even get it returned to you on the same day.
Immo Off
Our tools allow us to read 95% of ECUs on the bench, which makes the immo off process really simple.
How it works:
If you live in or near Bristol I can come to you – or you are welcome to drop your ECU off and wait while we perform the immo off process. We also offer immo off services by post. If we receive your ECU before 1pm, we will even get it returned to you on the same day.
Carbon Cleaning
The aim of carbon cleaning is to reduce the soot and carbon deposits that build up inside your engine. At A1 Tuning Bristol our carbon cleaning service can be completed in under an hour. We also offer a mobile carbon cleaning service and we include it in some of our remap packages.
